A beautiful blushed pink, merino wool pair of booties - a modern take on the traditional hand knitted booties. They are made with comfort in mind and use the softest merino wool for delicate feet. The knit fabric has a lovely stretch, and are easy to pull on and off tiny feet. The self-fabric tie ensures they stay on, again with enough stretch to not restrict movement. They are also machine washable!

• While children and adults commonly wear socks to keep their feet warm, newborn babies have undeveloped muscles which make it difficult for socks to stay on. Booties offer a solution by acting as a sock, but ensure they stay on the most wriggly of feet through the use of a tie around the ankle.
• As we lose heat through our head, hands and feet it is important to keep these extremities warm and toasty. Babies cannot regulate their own temperature therefore it is important to use natural fibres which breath to ensure a child does not overheat. Merino wool offers warmth, breathability and safety. 
• The merino fabric Wilderling uses, is a superfine blend of 18.5 microns, meaning it is incredibly soft and suitable to be used for next to the skin of sensitive newborns.
• As babies grow, booties become an alternative to restrictive shoe options. Offering comfort and protection to developing feet.

• Booties are to be used correctly as a clothing accessory for the feet. Do not let babies and young children play with the bootie ties unattended. Never tie too tight around a babies ankle.
• We suggest checking the ties around the babies ankles to ensure there is wiggle room and that they are not secured too tight as to inhibit normal circulation.
